about mainstream
After 15 very successful years at 90 Reynolds Street in Downtown Oakville, Mainstream Clothier has expanded to a second location at 481 John Street, Burlington Downtown.
Says owner Laura Lynn Scarfo, “This is something that our customers have been asking for. Mainstream has many clients who live in Burlington and Hamilton so it just made sense.” The new location is dedicated to Laura’s mother, Shirley Jane who passed away from breast cancer in June 2004. “She was one of Oakville’s great fashion retailers. I know she would be very proud of the new store.” adds Laura.
Mainstream is known for it’s outstanding level of customer service. It can offer personal shopping service, wardrobe consultation and planning, alterations, delivery and even after-hours shopping complete with all the finishing touches like gift-wrapping.
Mainstream stores are about lifestyle, where clients will find fashion for all their needs. This includes casual wear, dresses, eveningwear, coats, suits, shoes, boots, purses and accessories. The Mainstream clientele is a multi-faceted woman who needs a wardrobe that will reflect her lifestyle and personal sense of self.
Mainstream boasts designer lines such as; Streets Ahead, Velvet, Sue Wong, 3J
